India is an emerging market for home décor and furnishings. People in India have an increasing tendency to spend money on styling homes and this might be the reason why big international brands like IKEA are entering into the Indian market. The renowned Swedish furniture giant IKEA has launched its first Indian retail store in Hyderabad back in 2018 and has again expanded its reach with the launch of its second physical store in India at Navi Mumbai a couple of days back.

The new IKEA store is located on the Thane-Belapur Road, approximately 600 mts from the Turbhe Station. It spans over 5.3 lakh sq ft and is stocked with more than 7,000 home furnishing products – all capable of inspiring people for easy, space-saving, and comfy living at home. Customers can check the products and then have some purchases. The store has IKEA’s iconic products such as BILLY Bookcase, MALM Bed, EKTORP Sofa, etc.
IKEA is careful about the safety of customers and co-workers looking into the currently on-going Coronavirus so a limited number of visitors will be allowed to the store initially. If you are interested to go to the new store, you will have to do prior registration. You will be given a date and time to visit the store.
