Sonos Roam lets you listen to your favorite music while preparing your breakfast or having a shower in the bathroom. It will be useful at home or outdoor equally.
Specifications and features of Sonos Roam Portable Wi-Fi/Bluetooth Speaker
Sonos Roam features an elegant yet durable design that makes it the ultimate portable speaker for both home and outdoors. Its triangular shape and soft profile is comfortable to pick up and attractive to look at. It can be placed horizontally on any side and even upright to save surface space. There are silicone pads at both ends to withstand bumps.
There are LED lights on the product to indicate connection, charge status, mute status, microphone activation, and errors. The speaker is dustproof, drop resistant and waterproof. The Roam can be used in the bathroom while you shower and also by the pool.
It is available in two colors: shadow black or lunar white. The speaker is 6.61 inches tall and weighs only (0.43 kg).
The Sonos Roam has one midwoofer and one tweeter along with two class-H digital amplifiers to deliver a rich, detailed sound with the clarity, depth, and fullness. The output is pleasant; however, its small size limits the bass quality, The Verge reviews.
There is an Automatic Trueplay feature that adapts the speaker’s sound with environment and content type. Furthermore, the Sound Swap feature allows sending sound between Roam and the nearest Sonos product in your system, making it easy to move music from room-to-room.
Bluetooth stereo might feature isn’t available in the speaker right now; however; the mobile app allows grouping any of Sonos speakers to Roam when streaming with Bluetooth for stereo playback.
Roam has an 18Wh battery that provides up to 10 hours of continuous playback on a single charge at moderate volumes. In the ideal position, Roam switches to sleep mode to conserve power, and the battery can last up to 10 days.
It can be charged using the included USB-C power adapter or you can also place the speaker on any Qi-certified charger or the Sonos Roam Wireless Charger. According to Sonos, it will charge up faster when wired than with the wireless charger.
Processor and Connectivity
